Our Philosophy

“Give me the tools so I can do it by myself!”
Our philosophy includes the celebration of the natural phenomenon of the unfolding journey of every child; the magnificent and magically unique process this involves and the ease in which this can be supported by parents and carers devoted to their child’s growth.

Education is a natural occurrence.
Every experience a child goes through can be labelled with a “learning objective”.

With this in mind, we understand that education is a way of life that children should enjoy the process of. Anyone seeking to educate a child must understand that education is the individual’s task and the supporting of the educational journey of that individual is their task.

How does one support the education of any individual?

Through acute observation and scaffolding of learning.

Through patience and internally driven interest.

Through dedication and a naturally inquisitive thirst for nature and its science.

Education is not an arduous formal task but a way of life and when children enjoy the journey they do so for life!

To understand the needs of any child, observation is vital.  Once you are aware of where your child’s skills and expertise need developing, you can easily begin to support your child by creating enjoyable opportunities that gift your child further experiences to practice and master any required skill.
